Graduate in Early Childhood Education with Little-to-No Cost
John Wood Community College offers an Early Childhood Education program. This specialized training in early childhood education, combined with hands-on learning in a state-of-the-art early childhood lab, equips child care workers and teachers with a strong foundation. They acquire essential skills to design, coordinate, and execute activities that foster the academic, social, and physical development of children from infancy to pre-kindergarten.
Students pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education can graduate at little-to-no cost, thanks to one step in our three-pronged approach. A last-dollar-in scholarship of up to $2,000 per semester is available to students living in Adams County, IL who are pursuing an Early Childhood Education degree, as well as students working in an Adams County, IL child care facility while pursuing an Early Childhood Education degree.
If funding allows, this scholarship will be extended to students pursuing any education degree at JWCC and currently working in an Adams County child care program. The scholarship will be awarded after all other student aid is applied to the student account.
